ADHD Assessment and Treatment
Learning to accept and nurture your brain can be life-changing.
Your brain is unique. Learning to better understand it and work with it—rather than against it—can improve your quality of life.
I am a neurodivergent-affirming ADHD therapist, which means my practice honors the way your brain functions and focuses on what you need to thrive.
ADHD symptoms vary significantly among individuals. Some people may experience lack of focus coupled with periods of hyperfocus, time blindness, novelty seeking behavior, or difficulty following through on mundane or repetitive tasks.
A lifetime of trying to mask ADHD symptoms can bring up a host of other mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, low self worth, fatigue, rage, shame, self doubt, or burnout. Our work together can address these experiences as needed.
ADHD presents differently in every person. ADHD therapy starts with assessment and diagnosis to understand your particular symptoms and how they are affecting you. If you have already self-diagnosed, I would love to hear what you learned.
Once we have a better understanding of your ADHD symptomatology, our work can focus on how to honor and care for your needs.
